Textron Aviation, which owns the Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft brands, has appointed Ruder Finn as its PR agency in China.
The agency's new retainer account includes media communications, event management and strategic counsel.
“This relationship validates our presence in the aviation sector and corporate practice,” Paul Yang, General Manager of Ruder Finn Beijing, said.
In 2011-2012, Ruder Finn was the PR agency for Hawker Beechcraft. Ruder Finn also provided services for Beechcraft at the 2013 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) and China International General Aviation Convention (CIGAC) before its acquisition by Textron Inc. this March.
Ruder Finn provided project-based PR service for Textron Aviation at 2014 ABACE in April.
This year’s ABACE was Textron Aviation’s debut in China but aircraft manufactured by Cessna and Beechcraft have been operating in China for more than 30 years.
