McCann Worldgroup Asia has appointed Samantha Strauss as regional director of communications. Based in Singapore, she reports to Charles Cadell, president of McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific.
Strauss will be responsible for internal and external communications, aligning key stakeholders to raise the profile of the network across the region.
She moves from BBDO Asia, where she has spent the past three-and-a-half years overseeing the agency's PR and communications. She led the PR for the agency’s ‘World Under Water’ campaign in 2014.
Prior to BBDO, Strauss held various event production and management positions and she also spent two years with FutureGov magazine in Singapore, specialising in Asian Government summits.
