Melody FM has branched into the Hokkien community, creating a designated show called Hua Hee Hok Kee La! for its Hokkien listeners.
Hosted by radio personalities Linda Ang and Season Chee, both native Hokkien speakers, the show will be split into two sessions with Linda hosting from 4-6 pm and Season from 6-8 pm, every weekday.
"The launch of Melody FM's Hua Hee Hok Kee La! is the station's initiative to remain relevant to its listeners in the northern region who are predominantly Hokkien speaking," said Jane Hiew, content manager of Melody FM.
The show is available in Penang, Alot Setar and Perlis.
