Facebook has started testing a new company-centric offering, Facebook at Work, with a select group of partners who can use the service for internal communication.
It service is different from rival social media site LinkedIn, were Facebook for Work is used for communicating with colleagues for work purposes, whether it's having a meeting or collaborating on a project.
The information shared among employees is only accessible to people in the company, while conversations about work are kept separate from employees' personal profiles.
Facebook tools available for use in Facebook at Work include the News Feed, Groups and Messages.
