Clarence Chiew (pictured), Leo Burnett’s recently appointed ECD for Singapore has exited the agency.
Chiew was appointed in May this year.
The agency saw chief creative officer, Singapore, Tim Green exit in October this year as well. Green had earlier relocated from Leo Burnett’s Sydney office to Singapore to replace previous creative lead Ted Lim, who moved to Dentsu Singapore.
After Green's departure, Josh Grace, managing director, Leo Burnett Singapore, said: "we had to take a look at how we best structure the agency for its next phase of growth."
"Obviously, we were keen for Clarence to be a key part of that future, however, despite a lot of goodwill on both sides, we were not able to find a solution that worked for both parties. Clarence was keen to pursue another challenge, hence we agreed he could move on," he told Marketing.
He further added the agency has a clear plan for the agency, going forward, adding that replacements would soon be made, without revealing further.
"We have just moved to brilliant new premises, won multiple pieces of business and have identified new creative leadership for the agency. These will be announced when the time is appropriate," he said.
