
Marketing today has announced the launch of the annual Mobile Excellence (Mob-Ex) Awards 2015. Now in its third year, this year’s awards will be open to entrants from the Southeast Asia region.
Bringing together clients, brands and agencies, the awards has already established itself as the prime awards program that celebrates outstanding work and programmes in the entire mobile marketing business.
Entries are opened to client organisations and brands that have used mobile marketing as an indispensable part of a broader marketing mix of online and offline platforms, whilst delivering a core marketing objective.
To be eligible, submitted works must have been conceptualised and executed in Southeast Asia (SEA) for the SEA market, or for markets that includes at least one country in Southeast Asia.
“Southeast Asia is a huge market for mobile, with one of the highest adoption rates globally. From Indonesia to the Philippines, where the mobile population is high and growing fast, to the savviness of mobile users in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, this is an exciting region for marketers to get creative with their mobile activations. That is why we are going regional this year, to celebrate the best of what the region’s mobile marketing scene has to offer,” said Soren Beaulieu, publisher for Marketing magazine.
Winners will be celebrated at a gala dinner on the 5 February 2015 at the Mandarin Orchard Hotel, Singapore.
