Turn Creative expands global partnership with Olympus

Turn Creative Limited, the creative agency for Olympus, has been awarded global creative duties to promote its new product Olympus PEN E-PL7 with an ad campaign launched across the globe.

The campaign, which spans television, digital, print and OOH, marks the first time the Japan-based optics and reprography manufacturer hands creative duties for a global campaign to Hong Kong agency.

Meanwhile, Olympus' creative agency in its headquarter Japan remains Dentsu.

The global push includes two product videos and TV commercials, with each carries two versions presented by Asian and Caucasian ambassador respectively to cater to global audiences.

"This is an interesting campaign as rarely do we see local agency take responsible for global campaign," said Tony Hon, founder and executive creative director of Turn Creative Limited.

"Hong Kong used to be a creative hub in Asia but it has now shifted to China. We're glad to make some changes in the industry," he added.
