
Thanks to a heavy stream of entries, The Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) have extendedthe submission deadline for this year’s Boomerang Awards (Boomerangs) by one week to Monday, 25 August.
Now in its 7th year, the Boomerangs saw over 150 submissions from across agencies, industries and platforms in 2013 - what the organizers consider as a healthy gauge of digital marketing talent and creativity. But aside from what appeals to the eyes and heart, winning campaigns are also judged based on effectiveness, regarded as a driver behind the continued interest in this fairly new platform.
The Boomerang awards are open to both IMMAP and non-IMMAP organizations. Among agencies who caught the coveted gold boomerangs in 2013 were Bury the Past EVAW by Di9it/DM9 JaymeSyfu, Nestle Club by OgilvyOne Worldwide Manila and Mcdonald’s Angpao Coupons by Mobext.
