VivaKi’s trading lead Ramesh exits

Bharad Ramesh (pictured), head of trading and partnerships, Southeast Asia for VivaKi has left the agency, after over a year in the role.

Both Ramesh and Starcom MediaVest Group have confirmed the move to Marketing.

In his role, he was tasked to build a trading culture within the organisation, contributing to the local teams capability. He worked with the teams to create process, build innovative negotiations models, enable smart use of data and tools and drive operational excellence. The processes were aim at enabling advertisers to migrate to screen-neutral planning and automated trading platforms.

Ramesh has been with the agency for over four years, first coming on board as regional executive director, strategic operations and trading for Starcom MediaVest Group in 2010. Prior to his stint at SMG, he was deputy leader and regional client leader for GSK and Aviva at Mindshare Singapore where he held the role close to three years.

“Ramesh has spoken with me of his desire to move on from the agency world over the past year. He has now decided to take the big step in the next few months and we wish him well. We will be looking for a replacement for him in due course,”  Jeffrey Seah, CEO for Southeast Asia Starcom MediaVest Group, country chair SEA, VivaKi told Marketing.
