DiGi has selected Naga DDB and Havas as its creative agencies on record following a pitch.
Following the completion of an organisation-wide transformation programme, DiGi embarked on a process to select the right creative agency to assist in developing its brand through the next phase of growth as the company moves further to deliver its brand promise of Internet For All.
Over the past few months, it conducted an exhaustive creative agency RFP (request for proposal) process; this was the second time this process was run this year, in the interest of appointing the right partner in a highly competitive and fast-changing marketplace, the company said.
Five international agencies were invited to participate in this process. These included the incumbents Naga DDB and TBWA, together with Grey, McCann-Erickson and Havas.
As a result Naga DDB emerged as the preferred agency for DiGi, and will be retained as the agency on record. Havas will also be included into the roster, for corporate brand duties.
“We thank all the agencies who participated in this process for their extremely high quality work, and for their patience. In this same vein, we congratulate Naga and Havas for their win,” the company said in a statement.
