
Go-Jek, an app based ride hailing service in Jakarta has widen its range of offerings with the inclusion of Go-Med, an online medical service, according to an article on Jakarta Globe.
The article stated that in cooperation with medical courier service, Apotik Antar, the new service will allow customers to browse and order medicine worth a minimum Rp 10,000 (US 75 cents) online.
The app has divided the medicines into categories such as prescribed and unsubscribed. On this basis, the app would search for the required product at the nearest healthcare store and will have it delivered at the customer’s store with an hour. Customers can also order healthcare equipment and beauty products with the help of this app.
The service in available in greater Jakarta area, Bandung, Denpasar, Makassar, Surabaya, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Medan, Palembang and Balikpapan. It currently accepts cash on delivery, Go-Jek credit and e-wallet payment system.
